A drawer perfume box needs a sliding fit that remains usable after printing, wrapping and insert assembly. The TELVORA IRIS CURRENT concept pairs an ivory rigid sleeve with a navy drawer, a navy pull ribbon and an ivory paperboard insert for one 50 ml display bottle. The bottle lies lengthwise with its cap toward the sleeve. Shenzhen CKT Print Co., Ltd. manufactures custom paper packaging boxes. This article explains the proposed materials, forming process and approval checks. Bottles, fragrance, caps, pumps and sprayers are outside the paper-packaging supply.
The provisional construction uses 2 mm greyboard for the sleeve and tray. Final board grade, finished size and sliding allowance require engineering around the actual bottle. The sleeve is a four-panel tube with open ends; the drawer is an open-top rigid tray that slides through the front short edge. It has no hinged cover, removable lid or magnetic closure. Board thickness, paper thickness and adhesive build-up must be included when determining clearance.
For costing, 120 gsm fine-grain uncoated wrapping paper is proposed for both components, using ivory for the sleeve and navy for the drawer. Confirm the actual paper grades and colours on physical samples. Pale paper can reveal glue staining and handling marks, while dark paper can show whitening at folds. Review corner joints, turned edges and the sleeve mouth after assembly. Any material substitution should be reviewed for fit as well as appearance.
The sleeve carries four original lines: TELVORA, IRIS CURRENT, for women and 50 ml. Navy flat printing is the visual direction. The artwork reads from the drawer front, with its top toward the back of the sleeve. No hot foil, metal plaque, raised badge or decorative frame is included. The display bottle uses matching wording, but bottle decoration is not part of the packaging quotation.
Trial the print process on the selected ivory paper. Check dried ink colour, coverage and the smallest lettering at normal viewing distance. Fine grain can affect letter edges and solid ink areas. Approve a physical proof instead of using a screen image as the production standard. Record the chosen paper and ink together so repeat orders can be compared against the same reference.
Mark the drawer opening edge, artwork reading direction and wrapping joint on the dieline. Check the decorated sleeve after assembly to verify that the title is upright from the intended opening position. Keep the print proof, structural drawing and decorated sample linked in the approval record. Artwork placement changes should be approved before printing rather than left for assembly operators to interpret.
The matte appearance comes from the selected uncoated paper. Film lamination, soft-touch coating, spot UV and hot foil are not specified. Preserve a consistent fine paper grain across the sleeve and drawer. If a protective finish is needed after handling trials, review how it changes colour, texture and sliding friction. Revise the sample and quotation before adopting it.
Use a decorated sample for agreed handling and rub checks. Inspect the ivory sleeve mouth and navy tray edges after repeated opening. Look for scuffing, transferred ink and worn paper along contact surfaces. Test under conditions relevant to the buyer’s storage and use requirements. The concept images cannot establish wear resistance or a numerical opening-force limit.

Fig. 2 The navy drawer slides through the ivory sleeve. The bottle remains lengthwise, with its cap toward the sleeve.
Prepare the board components from an engineered drawing, form the tray and assemble the sleeve separately. Control wall squareness, wrapping joints and adhesive distribution. Check that the decorated drawer enters the decorated sleeve evenly without twisting or catching at the mouth. A fit approved before wrapping is insufficient because paper and adhesive change the finished dimensions.
A single navy grosgrain ribbon loop is centred on the drawer front. Specify its width, exposed length and anchoring method in the production drawing. Evaluate the fixing with the filled bottle in place, checking that the attachment does not loosen or distort the front wall during use. The ribbon is an opening aid, not a handle for carrying the package. Pull-test criteria require physical validation and buyer agreement.

Fig. 3 The ivory paperboard insert locates a rounded rectangular bottle and its navy cylindrical cap. Underside support requires sample validation.
The proposed insert combines an ivory paperboard deck with folded paper support underneath. A rounded rectangular body aperture and rear cap extension establish the presentation direction. The bottle base faces the pull-ribbon end. Quote the deck and supporting assembly together. Foam, velvet and moulded plastic inserts are not specified for this concept.
Request a physical container sample or a dimensioned drawing that includes the cap, shoulders, base and filled weight. Establish the insert height, support points and removal clearance from that information. Check that the bottle can be lifted without scraping its label or forcing the cap against the opening. Test the loaded drawer through the full opening sequence. A change in bottle dimensions may require a new insert and sleeve.

Begin with a structural fit sample and follow it with a decorated sample using the selected paper, print and ribbon. Confirm sliding fit with the actual filled bottle before approval. A 1,000-box quantity is only a budget comparison scenario, not a verified MOQ. Sample fees, tooling and production lead time require factory confirmation for the final specification. Allow for material availability, approval time and transport when planning the launch.
Agree checks for paper identity, print clarity, sleeve squareness, clean wrapped edges, drawer travel, ribbon fixing and insert support. Define defect criteria and inspection methods before production. Transit evaluation should include the filled bottle, presentation box and outer shipping carton. Keep the approved artwork, print proof, paper swatches and decorated sample for repeat orders. No certification, completed test or production record is implied by this visual concept.

For OEM enquiries, provide the container sample, print-ready artwork, quantity and destination. For ODM development, request drawer engineering, insert design and a decorated prototype. Ask the quotation to identify the rigid sleeve, navy tray, paper grades, navy print, ribbon fixing and complete paperboard insert. Custom Cosmetic Packaging Boxes can use related construction after a separate fit study. Confirm final dimensions, MOQ, costs and delivery terms before ordering.
Contact our export team for paper packaging development, artwork review and sampling. The quoted supply includes the paper box, specified pull ribbon and paperboard insert. Perfume, glass bottles, caps, pumps, sprayers and bottle labels are excluded.
